Physical Print on Demand
Hewett Packard was one of the first to get into the business of printing magazines and brochures on demand. We used the service a few times, uploading a PDF to Hp and direct our website visitors to the HP MagCloud to download a free copy or order a printed version online. With online printing many consumers will read and consume online, but hard copy printed magazines and brochures are delivered by mail. It turned out to be very useful in many ways.
I used it several times to have a box of magazines, brochures and flyers promoted for special events and shipped directly to the event. World Travel market was the first example and I plan to use it again for our next visit to WTM to Introduce my new book. MarketingHotelsTourismOnline.com |
POD is the publishing of the future. I think its exciting that Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post. Perhaps journalism will soon officially move to the net along with publishing and online media.
