Lee Odden, of Toprank on May 22nd 2014 offered a summary of his analysis called “SEO Storm or Light Shower?“. He says “Panda affected sites both positively and negatively. “Winners” from the Panda 4.0 update include: glassdoor.com, buzzfeed.com and consumer affairs.com. Search Engine Watch also reports that some site owners experienced a significant jump in traffic after the update, so it appears that Panda 4.0 isn’t all bad news for site owners.”

Panda 4 is just a few weeks old and already it causing casualties. eBay lost many of it first page positions. Many travel sites could also br hit especially for duplicate content where htel descriptions are used across all sites often with no change t content.
The latest Panda is specifically looking for poor quality content, short content and duplicate content. And that includes that meta tags on the pages themselves.
So get your site audited and start now to focus on having unique, high quality content on your site. Write thought informative and useful articles that cause people to think and always try to put in your own point of view. Your articles should be 600 words or more and use videos and images where it makes sense. Above all don’t have duplicate content within your site and avoid using other people’s content.
If you have been following Good SEO practice and have not over-optimized your site, don’t have keyword-stuffed content, your site is not likely to be negatively affected by Panda 4.0.

Google Launches Panda 4.0 – SEW.
Matt Cutts confirmed that Panda 4.0 began rolling out yesterday. SEO experts are still pondering what it effects and why. Cutts says it all about eliminating low quality sites from search results. Some Experts believe it may be correct some over harsh filtering on good site that have confusing navigation. If so we should see quality sites getting back into organic search results.
